New Survey Opportunity

A group of us have created a survey that focuses on the organ offer process. We would like to survey ID Clinicians who are involved in the process of organ offers to determine the variability in approaches to organ offers. We have developed a set of 10 case scenarios that are followed by a series of questions. These scenarios are not real patients and do not contain actual patient information. All information is fictional and put together to illustrate the type of questions that occur in the organ offer process. A document is attached with additional information.

Structure

  • Bi-monthly virtual meetings featuring 30-minute presentations from two participating instructions - case presentations or research presentations

  • CME credits will be made available through VCU with nominal fees

  • Meet-and-greet at national conferences (ATC, ID Week)

  • Possibly in the future: A once yearly symposium with invited speakers
